Skebo is Skellefteå’s largest property company and owns and manages approximately 4,320 apartments and a number of premises. We have rental apartments in apartment blocks, terraced houses, single-family homes, student housing, youth apartments, +55 apartments, sheltered housing apartments, and care and nursing homes. Through our work, we also want to inspire and enable other operators to contribute to Skellefteå’s housing market.
We are at the top of Sweden in terms of customer satisfaction, and we are naturally proud to be so appreciated among our tenants. One reason for this is that we consider good relationships to be of the highest importance. and we want our tenants to feel involved in issues such as well-being and safety and security. Our goal is to ensure that every new tenant is happy in their dream home from the moment they move in. Simply put, we want to make people’s lives easier.

Where people want to live
Our role as a municipal housing company largely involves giving people somewhere to live in the Skellefteå of the future. We do this by rebuilding and building new, so that as many people as possible have the opportunity to live exactly where they want. Therefore, we provide housing both in central Skellefteå and in other parts of the municipality.
Development from a larger perspective
At the same time, it is important for us to always look at things from a larger perspective when implementing our projects. The purely business side of things is obviously important, but there are more aspects to consider. What consequences does our work have on society as a whole? And how do we create the greatest possible benefit for Skellefteå? As part of this, our entire business always focuses on sustainability from three different perspectives. These include ecological sustainability, environmentally smart choices, and social sustainability, which is important since we bring people in our residential areas closer together. We also do what we can in the labour market. For example, we offer young people holiday jobs, and we give the long-term unemployed and new Swedes the chance for contract employment.
