Electric car charging
As part of Skebo’s climate efforts and willingness to contribute to a sustainable society, we now want to make things easier for our tenants by providing charging stations in our residential areas.
Where technically possible, we can now offer our tenants access to electric car charging via a charging box that is mounted on an existing engine heater post. The prerequisite for being able to charge your electric car is that you rent a parking space with an engine heater post.
For safety reasons, it is important that charging is not done via an ordinary electrical socket in, for example, the garage, since this can be dangerous as there is a risk of overheating. Ordinary wall and engine heater sockets are usually not made for the prolonged high load that electric car charging entails. Skebo is therefore investing in a secure charging solution from Garo.
Charging box
- 10 amps, 1 phase
- Price: SEK 2,000 (one-time cost) + SEK 600/month for electricity and charging box rental. The tenant is responsible for obtaining a charging cable.
- The binding period for the electric car charging supplementary agreement is 1 year, after which the agreement is automatically extended with a 1-month term of notice.
- As landlord, we are responsible for the function of the charging box (fault reporting is done in the usual manner).
The processing time from order to installed charging station is about 8 weeks.
